LaFarge set out to create a body of work that paired emotional lyrics with a killer groove and grabby melodies. Written by LaFarge and co-produced with Chris Seefried, the album is one of LaFarge’s strongest and most mature lyrical efforts to date. The album’s title, In the Blossom of Their Shade, is taken from a lyric in the stunning, yet dusty “Mi Ideal.” That song sonically draws influences from the Southwest, South America and Caribbean.

Over the decades Errol has collaborated and played with many musical greats from the blues world and beyond including Bo Diddley, Tony Allen, Abram Wilson, Doctor John, Screaming Jay Hawkinsand most recently US guitar supremo Joe Bonamassa. Linton contributes the haunting harmonica on 'Lookout Man' from Joe's 2021 Grammy nominated album 'Royal Tea' recorded at Abbey Rd.

Singer and guitarist, Jack Badcock is a veteran performer, having toured extensively on four continents, predominantly as frontman and founding member of renowned world-folk band Dallahan. A previous finalist in the BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year Award, his 2021 EP, The Driftwood Project was nominated for Original Work of the Year at the BBC Scots Music Awards. His solo material reveals his astute songcraft exploring human history, cosmology, personal experiences and profound questions all delivered with a musical sensitivity clearly influenced by American folk, funk and soul music as much as the traditional music from Britain and Ireland.
Andrew Waite is an accomplished accordion player and composer from the Scottish Borders. He plays with well-known folk bands Dallahan and Fourth Moon as well as performing alongside Siobhan Miller, Lucy Farrel, Grainne Brady and the Claire Hastings Band. In recent years he has been building on his solo career, releasing two solo albums and embarking on solo tours around the UK.
